Concept Chocolate becomes
Pliester House – Chocolatier
For those who don't yet know our full story: our chocolate factory was born in Brussels in 1986 under the name Chocolaterie Duval. It was there that the foundations of everything we do today were laid.
In 2011, Maxime Pliester took over the company. It became Concept Chocolate. For 15 years, this name accompanied its development: workshops opened to visitors, personalized chocolate developed for hundreds of companies, and a team of ten passionate artisans built itself around this establishment.
In 2026, a new chapter begins. After all this, we no longer felt like a "concept." We felt like a home. Our home. So we did the simplest thing: we put our name on it.
Maison Pliester – Chocolatier. A more personal, more authentic identity, and truer to what we are today: an artisanal Brussels establishment, on Rue des Chardons in Schaerbeek, far from the Grand-Place — and that's perfectly fine with us.
The name changes, but the essence remains intact: the same team, the same workshop, the same recipes, and always the same passion for Belgian chocolate.
Chocolaterie Duval, Concept Chocolate, Maison Pliester: three names, one story.
Welcome to Maison Pliester – Chocolatier.
